We’ve heard it before – No excuses!  Well, usually that means, stop making excuses for why you can’t do something.  Let’s turn that around.  Let’s start making excuses!

No, I haven’t lost my mind.  Follow me.

When we aren’t happy with our body image, we “want” to make changes, but we make excuses for why we can’t succeed.

It’s time for a change!  Start making excuses for why you need to do things to get to where you want to be.  What is your goal?  Let’s take getting fit, healthy, and losing weight (because that applies to the majority of you that read my blogs).  When you’re faced with your friends or family asking you to go out for ice cream, tell them (and yourself) that you can’t tonight because you have a date with the gym.  “So sorry, but you can join me if you’d like.”    When it’s 8pm and your favorite tv show comes on, tell the star, “I can’t watch you tonight because I have to take care of my body tonight.”  Then pop in your favorite workout DVD.  Whatever “excuse” you usually use for NOT doing something, find the opposite excuse for why you SHOULD do something – and go with it!

Start living a happier, healthier life, using excuses that lead you to your goals.
